KARTING
Get to Know Us
Formula None started off as a group of petrol heads meeting at different karting tracks across Yorkshire each month to compete in a self made Formula None Karting Championship. Over time the group became a team of 10+ drivers united by their passion for racing. Monthly races however were not enough of a challenge for the team so on top of our calendar we participated in the British 24h karting race in Teesside Autodrome in August 2025.
Since the race more doors have opened and the hunger for more competition grew. The Team got recognised and interviewed at just our first championship event with just shy of 100 teams. The drivers are now recognised within the karting community and the team is eager to make a strong come back this year.
Where we are The Formula None Team currently consists of seven passionate drivers. Four of our fastest drivers are actively pursuing their passion for karting by competing in endurance racing championships, with the goal of progressing into the pro kart category. While the financial challenges of entering these events are difficult, our drivers are dedicated and working hard to participate in as many rounds of the British 24-Hour Championship as possible. The four drivers will be representing Formula None Karting as a unified team at Teesside, determined to achieve a podium finish and make their mark as one of the most promising contenders in the championship.
The remaining team members, although not yet competing at the same level, play an essential role in maintaining our strong team spirit. Whether supporting in the paddock, assisting in the pits, or contributing to media and logistics, every member of Formula None is fully committed to the team’s success both on and off the track. Formula None aims to field two teams in the 24-Hour Championship: the Formula None Team, consisting of approximately seven to eight drivers, and Formula None Karting, made up of our four fastest competitors.

Where we aim to be next Season...
Our Formula None Karting Team is eager to take part in the full championship calendar, which includes the Campillos 24 Hour, Le Mans 24 Hour, and Spa 24 Hour races.
However, at present, entering more than one additional round is financially challenging.
With the right support, we aim to expand our participation and compete across multiple events.
We currently have our sights set on Campilos or Le Mans to add to our 2026 calendar alongside the British 24h.
Championship Event Date
Campillos 24 hour – Spain 1st–3rd May 2026
Le Mans 24 hour – France 10th–12th July 2026
British 24 hour – Teesside, UK 7th–9th August 2026
Spa 24 hour – Belgium 4th–6th September 2026
Beyond the 24-Hour Championship, the team is also committed to giving back and developing their skills.
We plan to participate in Kart4Life Charity Endurance Races, continue monthly track visits to gain experience at different circuits, and take part in One-Day championships while training regularly at Teesside.
